Hula "Skipper" Moss

Hula "Skipper" Moss, 69, of Warren, died Monday, June 20, 2016, at St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands. She was born on April 24, 1947, in Port Arthur, to Ruby Christine Bobbitt and John Edwin Wheeler. She worked as a home healthcare provider.

Survivors include her children, Darin Edward Moss and his wife, LaRhonda, of Newton; and Julia "Candy" Cloud and her husband, Tyson, of Warren; grandchildren, Katelyn Cloud of Warren, Shelbi Moss of Bellville, Emily Cloud of Warren, Ethan Cloud of Warren, and Shea Lowery of Kirbyville; grand-puppy, Nutty; brother, Richard Earl Wheeler and his wife, Nola, of Evadale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

A gathering of Ms. Moss' family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2016, at First Baptist Church, 100 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016, at First Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
