Armando Ramon Cruz Martinez, 82, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was born on September 6, 1933, to Bernadina Martinez Rivero and Pedro Jose Cruz Martinez, in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba.

Survivors include his siblings, Adelina Cruz, Maruca Cruz, Evacio Federico Cruz; children, Haydee Diaz, Juan Carlos Cruz, Armando Cruz, Oscar Cruz; grandchildren, Jenitsee Diaz, David Cruz, Jennifer Cruz, Zuleydis Cruz, Dairelys Cruz and Damian Cruz; and four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by three siblings, Mamerto Cruz, Gelacio Cruz, and Bertordo Cruz.

Armando was loved and admired by everyone he met; he held a special place in his heart for all his close friends.

A gathering of Mr. Cruz’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m. with his funeral service to follow at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
