Alex Mendoza

Alex Mendoza, 19, of Nederland, died Thursday, June 9, 2016. He was born on September 10, 1996, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to Leticia DeSantiago and Joel Mendoza.

Survivors include his mother, Leticia Carrizales and her husband, Simon, of Nederland; father, Joel Mendoza and his wife, Mireya, of Grand Prairie; brothers, Joel Mendoza and Isaac Marroquin; sister, Brianna Mendoza; step-sister, Alexia Carrizales; grandparents, Ofelia DeSantiago and Lupe Meraz; and numerous other family members and friends.

A gathering of Alex’s family and friends will be at 8:00 a.m. with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
