Nell Thomas

Nell Thomas, 83, of Beaumont, died Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on July 19, 1932, in Sour Lake, to Eva Hampshire Johnson and Seaborn “Jack” Johnson.

Mom was there for all of us, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She was very loving to all. She was loved by many.

We loved our special Sundays with her and she really enjoyed her time with us. She will be truly missed by all her family.

Nell is survived by her children, Terry and Beverly Thomas, of Silsbee, and Debbie Delacerda and her husband, Ricky, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Shane Thomas and his wife, Heather; Eric Thomas; Jamie Mullins and her husband, Terry; Jason Delacerda; Travis Delacerda and his wife, Shayla; and great-grandchildren, Jason Delacerda, Dylan Delacerda, Joseph Delacerda, Jordan Delacerda, Stephen Mullins, Seth Thomas, and Aidan Thomas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Thomas; son, Alan Thomas; sisters, Alice Chaffin and Shirley Cox; and her parents.

Arrangements for Mrs. Thomas are under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
