Kristy Quinn

Kristy Quinn, 55, of Port Neches, died Monday, May 23, 2016. She was born on May 11, 1961, in Oxnard, California, to Gayl Kathleen Forbes Ganskow and Louis Ganskow, Jr, and had been a long time resident of the area.

Kristy retired as a registered nurse after many years. She enjoyed cooking, keeping her house clean, and laying in the sun. Kristy loved to sing. She will be remembered as a very social, kind, and loving wife, mother, and friend.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-three years, Stephen Quinn of Port Neches; daughter, Morgan Prewitt of Groves; mother, Gayl Ganskow; brother, Paul Ganskow; and nephew, Avery Ganskow, all of San Antonio; and several aunts, uncles, cousins from all over the country.

She is preceded in death by her father, Louis Ganskow, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. Quinn’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
