Virginia "Aunt Jenny" Falke

Virginia “Aunt Jenny” Falke, 82, of Winnie, died Friday, May 20, 2016. She was born on February 5, 1934, in Stowell, to Edna Pearl Saunders and Renford Falke and had been a lifelong resident of the area.

Aunt Jenny will be remembered as a caring aunt who helped raise all her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed family gatherings, going to the beach, and reading. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Arboretum and Dr. Danny and the staff at Riceland Hospital.

Aunt Jenny is survived by her brother, J.T. Falke of Robstown. She will be remembered lovingly by her numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Renford and Pearl Falke; seven brothers; and four sisters.

A gathering of Ms. Falke’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016, at Winnie-Stowell Church of Christ, 2559 Highway 124, Winnie, with her interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
