Louis
Henry Robinson, 81, of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Harbor
Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on July 31, 1934, to Lillie
Childress Robinson and Hulon Henry Robinson, in Huntsville, Texas.
Survivors
include his son, Linn Robinson of Austin; daughter, Lisa Farinella and her
husband, John, of Longview; grandchildren, Bridget Harper and her husband,
Mark; Bonnie Farinella; and Alyssa Knight and her husband, Corey; and
great-grandchildren, Jonah, Norah, and Jude Harper.
He
is preceded in death by his wife, Lura Robinson and sister, Frances Mitchell.
His
family would like to thank his church friends, donut shop gang, and neighborhood
friends. They provided much support for him throughout the years.
A
gathering of Mr. Robinson’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016, at
McCabe Roberts Avenue United Methodist Church, 1205 Roberts Avenue, Beaumont. A
graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery, Farm Road 563,
Liberty.
