Cleve Clement, 78, of Hamshire died Wednesday, May 11, 2016
at Christus – St. Mary Port Arthur, Texas. He was born on February 15, 1938, in
Morse, Louisiana, to Clevenia LeBlanc and Eugenia Clement, and had been a
longtime resident of the Hamshire area. Cleve was retired from Onyx
Environmental, as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by wife, Ola Lewis Clement, of Hamshire;
sons, Billy Clement and his wife, Peggy and Roger Clement, and his wife, Elisabeth,
all of Winnie; step-son, Bill Dean and
his wife, Briahna, of Port Neches; step-daughter, Annette Breaux, of Winnie;
nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Beulah Thibodeaux, of
Beaumont; Helen Bisloff and her husband, Vernon, of Hamshire; Lovina Racca of
Winnie; brother, Gabriel Clement, of Butte
Larose, Louisiana; numerous nieces; nephews; and many other family members and
friends.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Carlton
Clement and Otis Clement; sister, Shirley Daniel.
A gathering of Mr. Clement’s family and friends will
be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016, at Broussard’s, 134
West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14,
2016, at Broussard’s, will interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
