Linda
Kay Reese Ray, 54, of Lumberton, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Christus
Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on January 26, 1962, to Barbara
Hoose Reese and Edward J. Reese, in Penn Yan, New York. Linda attended Pinehurst
Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman. She was known as NiNi to her
grandchildren who were a central part in her life.
Survivors
include her husband, Gary Ray; son, Joshua Ray and his wife, Lindsay, of
Silsbee; daughter, Brandi Meyer and her husband, Derek, of Port Neches; sister,
Patricia Reese of Groves; brother, Edward James Reese, Jr. of Wisconsin;
grandchildren, Kinsley Ray, Ayden Ray, and August Meyer; and a host of friends.
A
gathering of Mrs. Ray’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at
Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
