Patricia
Jean Parsley Gooch, 72, of Kountze, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Christus
Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on April 25, 1944, to Zella Snow
Parsley and Edwin Worley Parsley, in Beaumont.
Survivors
include her husband, Francis Gooch; daughter, Carolyn Boyd and her husband,
Scott, of Beaumont; son, Michael Gooch and his wife, Robin, of Bridge City;
brother, Douglas Parsley and his wife, Sandra, of Kountze; aunts, Ruby Paul and
Bea Snow, both of Conroe; uncles, Ben Snow and his wife, Betty, of Tennessee
and Glen Parsley and his wife, Mary Louise, Beaumont; cousins, Donnette Hall of
Conroe; Jerry Parsley and his wife, Judy, of Lumberton; and Susan and Charles
Hoyt of Conroe; sisters-in-law, Barbara Gooch, Marie Louise Gooch, and Martha
Gooch, all of Vidor; and Iris McKuster of Kirbyville; and a host
of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A
gathering of Mrs. Gooch’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m., Monday, May 2, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Broussard’s. A
graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery, Hemphill.
