Jimmy Allen Bertrand, 52, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He was born on February 16, 1964, to Julia Mae LeBleu and Estherword Bertrand, in Basile, Louisiana. Jimmy worked as a fire extinguisher technician for Coastal Sprinkler Company.

Survivors include his wife, Nicola McGuire Bertrand; sons, David Bertrand of Nederland, Timothy Bertrand of Mamou, Louisiana; and Cole Bertrand of Beaumont; daughter, Kandess Bertrand of Fredericksburg, Virginia; grandchild, Abigale Bertrand of Beaumont; brothers, Bert Bertrand of Basile, Louisiana and Bobby Bertrand and his wife, Donna, of Elton, Louisiana; sisters, Sandra Hallam and her husband, Steve, of Ville Platte, Louisiana; and Glenda Adkins and Nancy Bertrand and her husband, Bobby, all of Eunice, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Esther Bertrand; and brother, Hilliard “Slim” Bertrand.

A gathering of Mr. Bertrand’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
