Dian Arsement Vickers,
77, of Nederland, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was born on October 12,
1938, in Port Arthur, to Evelyn Mae Wagner Arsement and Lionel Joseph Arsement.
Dian loved
playing Bridge. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her
family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors
include her husband, Richard Vickers of Nederland; daughters, Vicki Westbrook
and her husband, Gary, of Spring Branch and Lisa LaSalle and her husband, Coy,
of Beaumont; grandchildren, Brittney Y’Barbo and her husband, Todd, of
Kirbyville; Katelyn Johnson and her husband, Alex, of San Antonio; Kelsey Weiss
and her husband, Eric, of Spring Branch; and Gabrielle, Caden, and Brock
LaSalle, all of Beaumont; great-grandchildren, Cole and Elizabeth Kate Y’Barbo,
both of Kirbyville; sisters, Jeanelle Street and Judy Radcliff and her husband,
Pat, both of Nederland; brother, Lionel “Butch” Arsement and his wife, Carolyn, of
LaBelle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents; and son, Reagan Lane Vickers.
A gathering of
Mrs. Vickers family and friends will be 12:00 p.m., followed by her funeral
service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. Her interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port
Neches.
