Nicole "Niki" Marie Bourg Duplechain

Nicole Marie Bourg-Duplechain,
40, of Lumberton,
died Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born on October 19, 1975, in Houston, to Shaylene Marie
Lowry and George A. Hunter. Niki was a registered nurse.
Niki was a fun loving lady; she
enjoyed arts and crafts, scrapbooking, exercising, and running in marathons. She also loved singing and dancing to her
favorite band music, Blue October. If you were around Niki very much, you would
notice that she loved taking selfies and drinking Dr. Pepper! She was a
practical joker and wanted to make everyone laugh and smile. Niki’s faith was very strong and you could
see her love for God in all she did. She
loved being a mother and her children were the world to her.
Survivors include her children,
Eric Bourg, Andrew Bourg, Mattison Bourg, all of Lumberton; stepson, Trent
Bourg of Spring; father, George A. Hunter of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Neil
Lowry of Port Acres; sister, Annette Hunter; and numerous aunts, uncles, and
cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother.
A gathering of Nicole's family
and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m., with here funeral service at 4:00 p.m.,
Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her
committal was held at Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
