Edwin "Ed" Meadows

Edwin “Ed” Meadows, 92, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He was born on August 19, 1923, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a United States Army veteran and retired as a mechanical trainer from DuPont.

Survivors include his son, George Meadows and his wife, Diane, of Fannett; daughter, Becky Meadows of Euless; sisters, Wanita of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Velma Peters and her husband, Harry, of Dallas; grandchildren, Victoria Kubacak and her husband, Brandon, of Argyle; Lori Boucher and her husband, Jeremy, of Coppell; and Aaron Meadows of Beaumont; three great-grandchildren; and goddaughter, Nancy Trowbridge of Jasper.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Everett “CE” Meadows and Faye Davis Meadows and his wife, Patsy Ann Meadows.

A gathering of Mr. Meadows’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2016, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
