Ralph
Robinson, 67, of China, died Monday, April 18, 2016. He was born on July 22,
1948, to Marie Rooks Robinson and Ralph Robinson, in Memphis, Tennessee, and
was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Ralph worked as a bricklayer in the
construction industry. He received the Craftsman of the Year award from the
Association of General Contractors. It was one of two awards ever given of its
kind to bricklayers in the history of the association.
Survivors
include his wife, Ruby Robinson; sons, Joseph Boudreaux, Ralph Brown Robinson
II, and Ralph Brook Robinson, Jr., all of Beaumont; daughters, Tonya Roberts
and her husband, Levi, of Lumberton; Angela Arnold Clark of Canyon Lake;
Barbara Rae Maas and her husband, Bradford, of Magnolia; and Marie Brooks Robinson
of Sour Lake; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, sister-in-law,
Carrie Box and her husband, Brian, of China; and mother-in-law, Ginger Maddox
of China.
He
is preceded in death by his parents and his cousin who was like a brother to
him, James M. Corbell and his wife, Marie.
A
gathering of Mr. Robinson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until
7:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
