Rachel Beatrice “Bea” Jeffcoat,
90, of Spurger, died Sunday, April 17,
2016. She was born on February 10, 1926,
in Merryville, Louisiana, to Carrie Woodard Wright and Harry
Wright.
Survivors include her husband,
Thomas “Buck” Jeffcoat; son, Glenn Altnau and his wife, Dianne, of Vidor;
grandchildren, Carrie Merritt and her husband, Paul, of Spurger and Chris
Altnau and his wife, Magdalena, of Marshall; great-grandchildren, Gracie
Merritt, Summer Merritt, Wyatt Merritt, Yuri Altnau, and Sonya Altnau; brother,
James Wright and his wife, Jean, of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and
nephews. She is preceded in death by her
parents; son, Michael Jeffcoat, Sr.; and grandson, Michael Jeffcoat, Jr.
A gathering of Mrs. Jeffcoat’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20,
2016, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery
Road, Silsbee.
Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016, at
Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at R.S. Farmer
Cemetery, Silsbee.
