Joan
Dail Shelburne, 69, of LaBelle, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016. She was born on
May 14, 1946, in Port Arthur, to Lucille and Nolan East.
Joan
is survived by her children, Tammy Kemp Markum and her husband, Michael, of
Fannett; Laura Kemp Suire and her husband, Russell, of Spring; and Deanna Kemp
Harrington and her husband, Craig, of Vidor; grandchildren, Courtney Kemp, Kyle
Markum, Colton Choate, Kaylee Markum, Cameron Harrington, Nicholas Suire,
Jillian Suire, and Michael Harrington; brother, Guy East, of Sulphur,
Louisiana; and sisters-in-law, Betty East, of LaBelle and Rosalie Gillespie, of
El Paso.
She
is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Shelburne; and parents, Lucille East
Miller and Nolan East; brother, Carl East; and sister, Glenda East Watts.
A
gathering of Mrs. Shelburne’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016, at
Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
