Billie
Moore Templeton, 89, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Calder
Woods, Beaumont. She was born on January 5, 1927, in Rose Pine, Louisiana, to
Lottie Moore and Riley J. Moore, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.
Billie
worked at Texaco for thirty-seven years, and retired as and Administrative

school at Thomas Jefferson High and was a member of The Hussars Drum and Bugle
Corps; she also attended Port Arthur Business College.
Billie
is survived by her husband, John Templeton, of Beaumont; niece, Carla Heverly
and her husband, Tod, and their son, Noah, of Houston; and many cousins; and
host of family and close friends who loved her.
A
memorial service for Mrs. Templeton will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2016,
at Calder Woods Chapel, 7080 Calder Avenue, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements were
handled by Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
We
want to give thanks to Calder Woods Staff, Alzheimer’s Care and Buckner
Hospice.
