Carmen Tobar

Carmen Tobar, 42, of Hamshire, died Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was born on July 2, 1973, in Bay City, to Irene Davila Tobar and Pedro Tobar.

Survivors include his wife, Antonia Tamayo Tobar of Hamshire; sons, David Carmen Tobar of Alvin, Anthony Carmen Tobar and Nathan Carmen Tobar, both of Hamshire; daughter, Emma Carmen Tobar of Hamshire; sister, Linda Tobar of Markham; brothers, Pedro Tobar, Jr. of Rosharon; Ray Adam Tobar and his wife, Belinda, of Bay City; and Andrew Tobar and his wife, Marcie, of Nada; numerous nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Miguel Flores and Sherry Dorsey of Nederland; sister-in-law, Michelle Lilley of Schertz; and brother-in-law, Luis Miguel Tamayo of South Houston.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Tobar’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2016, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland.
