Florence Evelyn Meshwert

Florence Evelyn Meshwert, 84, of Groves, died Tuesday, April
12, 2016. She was born on January 16, 1932, in Port Arthur, to Lillian Hilton
and Elder Gilbert, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.
Survivors include her children, Roxie Knighten of Silsbee;
Bonnie Parker of Groves; Sherry Porter of Fannett; Ricky Cubbage of Houston;
and Karla Trahan of Fort Worth; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Wolman; stepfather,
Alexander Wolman; son, Forrest Cubbage; and husband, John G. Meshwert.
A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium,
Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street,
Nederland.
