Ruth Helen Binagia

Ruth Helen Binagia, 89, of Port Neches, died Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was born on September 30, 1926, in Linden to Lois Hamilton Allday and Raymond Allday.

Ruth enjoyed crochet and making quilts and dolls. Thank you mom for passing along your spaghetti recipe. The family would like to thank her loyal caregiver, Peggy Trusty.

Survivors include her son, Bryan Binagia and his wife, Gail, of Port Neches; grandchildren, Dr. Erin Pickard and her husband, Will, of Gilbert, Arizona; Rachel Binagia of Houston; and Laura Binagia and Cory Binagia, both of Nederland.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam; her parents; brothers, Ross Allday and R.B. Allday; and sister, Martha Allday.

A gathering of Mrs. Binagia’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her entombment service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves in Love Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Binagia’s name may be made to an organization of one’s choice.
