Maxine
Johnson Ferguson, 77, of Beaumont, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Christus Hospital-St.
Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on June 8, 1938, to Jessie Smith Donely and
Lee Donley in Winchester, Arkansas.
Survivors
include her son, Steven Craig Ferguson and his wife, Karen, of Lumberton;
sister, Sue Rollins and her husband, Kenneth, of Beaumont; grandchildren,
Amanda Ferguson Terry of Beaumont and Haley Ferguson Whittle of Lumberton; and
great-grandchildren, Emma Layne Landry, McGraw Austen Whittle, Landen Joseph
Terry, and Brooks Noah Terry.
She
is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Deas Ferguson; one
sister, Hellen Parish; and brother, Troy Lee Donley.
A
gathering of Mrs. Ferguson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016,
at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park,
Beaumont.
