Peggy Boyett

Peggy Boyett, 65, of Kountze, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at Christus Dubuis Hospital of Beaumont.  She was born on May 1, 1950, in Greenville, Texas, to Ernestine Edge Blankenship and Calvin Murphy Blankenship.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-four years, Troyce Boyett; sons, James Robert Ridge and his wife, Shannon, of Thicket; Charles Parnell Ridge and his wife, Lacey, of Livingston; and Brandon Boyett of Kountze; daughters, Kirstie Smith and her husband, Tyler, of College Station and Brittany Harvell and her husband Jesse, of Kountze; step-daughter, Michelle Cagley of Kountze; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Glenodean Thomas.

 She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Boyett’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Holland Cemetery, Kountze.
