Joe
Bob Nichols, 70, of Silsbee, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.
He was born on June 11, 1945, in Jasper, to Ola Mae Langham Nichols and
Dock Nichols. Joe Bob retired from
Mead-Westvaco Papermill in Evadale.
Survivors
include his wife of forty-nine years, Sherry Nichols; sons, Joel Nichols and
his wife, Donna, of Silsbee; Patrick Nichols and his wife, Paula, of Sour Lake;
and Aaron Nichols of Kemah; grandchildren, Corey Nichols; Daylen Nichols and
his wife, Amy; Elijah Nichols; and Addison Nichols; and sisters, Audrey Riley
of Woodville and Versie Mullins of Warren.
A
gathering of Mr. Nichols’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m.,
Tuesday, March 29 2016, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Memorial
Park and Evergreen
Cemeteries, Jasper.
