Felix Vasquez, 77, of
Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Jefferson Nursing and
Rehabilitation, Beaumont. He was born on November 20, 1938, in Millers View,
Texas, to Estanislada Acosta Vasquez and Gabriel Vasquez.
Felix worked as a core
maker for Standard Alloys in Port Arthur, Texas for twenty years.
He is survived by his
wife of fifty years, Magdalena Vasquez of Beaumont; children, Marsela Vasquez
Gomez and her husband, Lorenzo; Jennifer Buenrostro and her husband, Jose;
Jerry Vasquez and his wife, Heather, all of Beaumont; brothers, Gabriel
Vasquez, Jr., and Juan Vasquez, both of Levelland, Texas; sister, Julie
Rodriguez and her husband, Jose, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Adriana Gomez,
Hannah Vasquez, Jerry Vasquez, Jr., Izaiah Hernandez; and Luis Mendez; and
great-grandchildren, Jose Chavolla and Jozi Gomez.
Felix is preceded in
death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
A memorial service for
Mr. Vasquez will be 6:00 p.m., Tuesday March 29, 2016, at Broussard’s, 2000
McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His committal will be held at Broussard’s
Crematorium, Beaumont.
