Carrol Stilley Callaway, 75, of Lumberton, died Monday,
March 21, 2016. She was born on July 28,
1940, in Timpson, to Maxine Fonville Stilley and Otto Henry Stilley.
Carrol was raised in Nederland and was a resident of Lumberton for the past two years. Her favorite past time was journaling and
spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband,
Stanley Callaway, Sr.; children, Paula Renee Goodson, Stanley Ross Callaway,
Jr., and Cobbie Russell Callaway and his wife, Aletha; grandchildren, Wesley
Ross Collier, Jared Chase Bailey, Stanley Ross Callaway, III, Miranda Callaway
Kirk, Loren Cobb, Linzy Callaway, and Shelton Steward Callaway;
great-grandchildren, Robert Andrews, Ryan Andrews, Brandon Collier, Addyson
Collier, Shawn Taylor Callaway, Alec Callaway, Alexia Callaway, Paris McCarty
Kirk, and London Kirk; brothers, Harold Stilley and his wife, Elaine, of Port
Neches; Danny Stilley of Orange; and William Stilley and his wife, Cheryl, of
Nederland; sister, Valinda Stilley Parrish of Nederland; and numerous nieces
and nephews. She is preceded in death by
her parents; grandchild, Jamie Collier Andrews; and brother-in-law, Rollie John
Parrish.
A gathering of family and friends
will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday,
March 24, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490
Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at 3:00 p.m.,
Corinth Cemetery, 3763 FM 1970 North, Timpson.
