Helen Berniece Fields,
90, of Splendora, Texas, died Thursday, March 17, 2016. She was born on
November 20, 1925, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Ethel Athea Edwards Stubblefield
and Roderick Random Stubblefield.
Helen is survived by
her children, D’Neece Elayne Becka and her husband, Jimmy, of Splendora; John
E. Fields and his wife, Ruth Herod Fields, of Denton; and Stan Fields and his
wife, Susan, of Austin; grandchildren; Deena Hays, Jamie Chernovalov, Cathy
Lamkin, Melissa Phillips, Keefer Fields, and Kaylor Fields; and
great-grandchildren, Simon Phillips, Daniel Lamkin, Kaytlon Fields, Johnna
Fields, Alyssa Fields, and Amanda Fields.
She is preceded in
death by her parents; husband, Ed Fields; and daughter, Eddie Carol Fields.
A gathering of Mrs.
Field’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday,
March 20, 2016, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral
Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2016, at Christian Fellowship
Worship Center, 3950 Pointe Parkway, Beaumont, with interment to follow at
Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
