Brucelle L. Foret

Brucelle L. Foret, 92, of Kountze, died Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on February 20, 1924, in Beaumont, to Louise Boutte Schreve and Patrick Joseph Schreve.  A lifelong resident of Kountze, Brucelle worked in the cafeteria at Lumberton Primary School. 

Survivors include her children, Linda Martin and her husband Norval; Sandy Courts and her husband, Rick, all of Kountze; Randy Foret and his wife, Patsy, of Beaumont; and Theresa Fagg and her husband, Leroy, of Kountze; grandchildren, Tracy Martin of Tampa Florida; Nick Martin and his wife, Brandy of Orange; Chuck Whitaker and his wife, Annette of Sour Lake; Tammy Silvestrini and her husband, Joey; John Whitaker and his wife, Shanna; Brandon Courts and his wife, Bridgette, all of Kountze; Eric Courts and his wife, Cindy, of Carrolton; Amy Gore and her husband, Sammy, of Port Neches; Carrie Marie Foret and her fiance’ Aaron Kay; John Ross Foret, all of Beaumont; Celena Ueckert and her husband Dean; and Rachel Mills and her husband, Josh, all of Kountze; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and seven great- great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.D. Foret; daughter, Suzanne Foret; step-granddaughter, Shari Pouch; grandson, Jacob Langston; brothers, Fritzi Schreve and Bobby Schreve;  and sister, Totsie Howell. 

A gathering of Mrs. Foret’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2016, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 LHS Drive, Lumberton, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
