Mark Gregory Brown

Mark Gregory Brown, 53, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on March 4, 1963, to Shirley Bumstead Brown and Mark Edward Brown, Jr. Mark was a physical education teacher at Amelia and then Dishman Elementary. He worked for BISD for twenty-seven years. 

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Brown of Beaumont; his adored children, Joseph Brown of Beaumont; and Hannah Brown and Jillian Brown of Orange; and mother of his children, Stephanie Brown; and numerous, aunts, uncles, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Mark Edward Brown, Jr.

A gathering of Mr. Brown’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
