William "Bill" Lavelle Malone

William Lavelle "Bill"
Malone, 83, of Kountze, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 12,
2016. He was born on January 11, 1933,
in Carthage, Mississippi, to Ina Estelle King Malone and
Ronald Banks Malone.
Bill lived in various locations
including Vicksburg, Mississippi;
Houston; Beaumont;
and Lumberton
before settling in Kountze where he lived for thirty-five years. Bill
retired from ADT and Gulf Coast Electric Company.
Survivors include his wife, Irene
Brown; children, Kathy Bailor and her husband, Donald, of Pearland; Tommy
Malone and his wife, Vickie, of Hillister; Billy Malone and his wife, Barbara;
Daniel Brown and his wife, Diana; Otha Brown and his wife, Becky; and Roy Brown
and his wife, Tessa, all of Kountze; grandchildren, Senior Master Sergeant
Michael Wright, and his wife, Linda, of Abilene; Joey Evans; Angela Evans; and
Amanda Rice and her husband, Johnny, all of Lumberton; Ashley Olivier and her
husband, Johnathan, of Kirbyvlle; Chris Malone and his wife, Courtney, of Deer
Park; Danielle Deaton; Jeremy Brown; Niki Brown; Jessica Brown; Justin Brown;
and Alex Brown; great-grandchildren, Owen Bailor, Jack Bailor, Madelyn Wright,
Hayden Tucker, Grayson Tucker, Weston Rice, Hallie Rice; Rylee Olivier; and
Charlei Olivier; and sister, Gayle Kirby of Carthage, Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his
parents; grandson, Sergeant James Wright; and sisters, Dorothy Maddox, Willeen
Quick, and Bobbie Nell McLemore.
A gathering of Mr. Malone's
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15,
2016, at Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Happy Valley
Baptist Church,
4069 Villa Road,
Kountze, with his interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
