David Francis Holle, Sr.
January 9, 1932 - March 13, 2016
David
Francis Holle, Sr., 84, of Beaumont, died Sunday, March 13, 2016. He was born
on January 9, 1932, in Kansas City, Missouri, and adopted by David Fritz Holle
and Alice Holle, and later Louise Holle. David was a United States Air Force
veteran, having served in the Korean War. After the Air Force, he attended
Oklahoma State University and graduated with a B.S. in Geology. He
always said his proudest accomplishment was his children, followed only by his
graduation from Oklahoma State University. David was a strong supporter of the
athletic department and especially loved his OSU football. He could always be
seen sporting his OSU orange and black during football season.
Upon
graduation, David started work for Sinclair Oil, which led to a fifty plus year
career in the oil and gas industry. He moved to Beaumont in the 1960’s and
became a successful business owner. David was co-owner of American Hose
Specialty and later, the owner of Industrial Components, Inc.
He
was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt whenever the opportunity
arose, and always made sure his children were with him so he could pass on the
tradition he so loved with his father. David loved to work in the community and
especially loved St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, where he volunteered his time,
and served on the vestry and finance committee. Our dad was a special man who
never met a stranger and was loved by all.

Holle is survived by his wife, Rhetta Kay Holle, of Beaumont; daughter,
Kimberli McConnell and her husband, Rick, of Coppell; sons, David F. “Bear”
Holle, Jr. and his wife, MeiJuan, of Willis; Harold Geoffrey Holle and his
