Truman Ray Ward, 76, of Silsbee,
died Tuesday, March 8, 2016. He was born
on August 14, 1939, in Silsbee, to Ruby and Sim Ward. Truman served his country as a United States
Marine and later worked as a security guard.
Survivors include his wife,
Barbara Ward; children, Terry Ward and his wife, Wendy, of Pennington, New Jersey;
and Tamela Ward of Galveston; grandchildren, Adam Stinnett and his wife, Aarynn,
of French Settlement, Louisiana; Michael Stinnett and his fiancée, Toni, and
Teia Stinnett, all of Silsbee; and Max Ward and Piper Ward of Pennington, New
Jersey; great-grandchildren, Trent Faulconer, Lilly Stinnett, and Skylar Brown;
and brothers, James Ward and his wife, Mary, of Fred, and Robert Ward and his
wife, Laurel, of Silsbee. He is preceded
in death by his parents.
A gathering of Mr. Ward’s family
and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m.,
Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with his
interment to follow at Old
Hardin Cemetery,
Kountze.
