Linda Sue Pickren

Linda Sue Pickren, 67, of Beaumont, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on May 27, 1948, in Austin, to Claire Ziaja and John Peterson. She was a retired teacher.

Survivors include her son, John Pickren of Beaumont; sister, Kim Draeger and her husband, Ron, of Georgetown; and nieces, Teri Hargis of Houston and Deborah Draeger of Austin.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas Randall Pickren.

A rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016, with a gathering to follow until 7:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive. A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue. Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
