Herbert Haywood Glover

Herbert Haywood Glover, 66, of Jasper and formerly of Kountze, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016.  Herbert served his county in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam and later worked as an insurance agent.

Survivors include his wife, Reida Glover; children, Michele Clements and her husband, James and Mark Glover and his wife, Sammie, all of Nederland; stepchildren, Wendy Bechtel and her husband, Mark, of Liberty and April Wilson and her husband, Brody, of Deer Park; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Bobby Ausburn of Livingston and Wayne Glover of Houston.  He is preceded in death by his parents; and stepdaughter, Jody Nichols.

A gathering of Mr. Glover's family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2016, with his service at 4:00 p.m., at Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  His committal was held at Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
