Warren
Cecil “Baby” Nelson, Jr., 82, of Beaumont, died Sunday, February 21, 2016, at
Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on January 3, 1934,
in Gonzales, to Carrie NedBalek and Warren Nelson.
Survivors
include his wife, Faye Nelson of Beaumont; sons, Warren “Chip” Nelson and his
wife, Michelle, of Dallas; and Kyle Nelson and his wife, Brenda, of Beaumont;
daughter, Michele Foster and her fiancé, Scotty Hebert, of Beaumont; brother,
Doug Nelson and his wife, CJ, of Cheek; grandchildren, Ren Nelson and his wife,
Nikki, Towns Nelson, Adrienne Langston and her husband, Chad, Amanda Nelson,
and Hannah Nelson; great-grandchild, Abram Miranda
He
is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ellen Zoch; and brothers, Edgar
Nelson and Willie Nelson.
A
gathering of Mr. Nelson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue,
Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24,
2016, at Winnie-Stowell Church of Christ, 2559 Highway 124, Winnie. His
interment will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Shiner Brethren
Cemetery, Shiner, Texas.
The
