Roberto
“Bob” Sanchez, Jr., 65, of Fannett, died Monday, February 22, 2016, at Harbor
Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on April 28, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to
Consuelo Salazar and Roberto Sanchez.
Survivors
include his wife, Linda Sanchez of Fannett; children, Amelia Poore-bone and her
husband, David, of Lake Jackson; Derek Lomas; Jamie Lomas; Jennifer Lomas, all
of Dallas; Cynthia Woodson of Nederland; Brian Melancon and his wife, Bonnie,
of Beaumont; Hollie Mathis and her husband, Pacer, of Katy; Michelle Jardine
and her husband, Eddie, of Fannett; and Katrina Petitt and her husband, Jason,
of Vidor; brothers, Ray Sanchez and his wife, Suzann, of Houston; Raymond
Sanchez and his wife, Lydia, of Colorado City; Frank Sanchez and his wife,
Michelle, of the Woodlands; Rick Sanchez and his wife, Martha, of Tomball;
sisters, Irma Dobre and her husband, Marin, of Spring; and Lisa Garcia and her
husband, John, of Houston; fifteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He
is preceded in death by his parents.
A
gathering of Mr. Sanchez’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with
his memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.., at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major
Drive, Beaumont. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium,
Beaumont.
