James "Buck" M Corbell

James
M. “Buck” Corbell, 79, of Beaumont, died Sunday, February 21, 2016, at
Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. He was born on September 15,
1936, in Aberdeen, Mississippi, to Jackson and Louise Corbell.
Buck
founded Corbell Masonry in 1977, where he worked until his retirement in 2010. He
was a lifetime member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local #1. Buck loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with
family and friends.
Survivors
include his sons, Tommy Corbell and his wife, Celeste; Jeff Corbell and his
wife, Terry, both of Beaumont; daughter, Lisa Dollinger and her husband, Mel,
of Lumberton; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Thelma Wells of
Aberdeen, Mississippi.
He
is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie Corbell; and his sister,
Virginia O’Neal.
A
gathering of Mr. Corbell’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 25,
2016, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park,
Beaumont,
