Miriam
Pearl Burns, 89, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Jefferson
Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on May 16, 1926, to Louise
Lillian Cancienne and William Auburn Jett, in Morgan City, Louisiana.
Survivors
include her sons, Ronnie Harvey and his wife, Barbara, of Beaumont and Donnie
Harvey and his wife, Sharon, of Fannett; sisters, Lucyle Keller of Des Plaines,
Illinois and Gay Nell Kirk of San Antonio; granddaughter, Vashti E. Harvey; and
two great-grandchildren.
She
is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy Burns, brother, Theo Jett; granddaughter,
Alana Letita Pulce.
A
gathering of Mrs. Burns’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20,
2016, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park,
Beaumont.
