Rosemary Ann Sherman, formerly
Rosemary Ann Jones, was born Thursday, August 31, 1944, in Sheffield England, to
Mary Domrowicz and Robert J. Jones.
Along with her younger brother, Michael Jones, they loved to play
outside and cause mischief. She was particularly
fond of Snow Bells, but she loved all flowers.
Rosemary’s father served as a
Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force for England, where she followed suit
serving four years as a photographic interpreter and showing her keen sense of
detail. Rosemary Jones met Edward
Sherman while they both were serving their respective countries not knowing
each of their bases were about five miles apart. After introductions through close personal
friends, they became smitten with each other.
Rosemary Jones was married to Edward Sherman on August 30, 1964, and was
together for over fifty-one years in matrimony.
Rosemary departed from this world
on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at 5:40 p.m.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward H. Sherman; five children,
Robert Sherman, Phillip Sherman, John Sherman, Courtney Sherman, and Kristen
Brown; five grandchildren, Kyle, Little John, Isaac, Giavanni, and Abigail; one
great-grandchild on the way, that she had the pleasure of learning about hours
before she passed; and brother, Michael Jones.
