John Rizzato, 74, of Lumberton, died Saturday,
February 13, 2016. He was born on December
10, 1941, in Beaumont,
to Ann Margaret and Peter Gerard Rizzato, Sr.
John was a United States Army veteran and retired from Eastham Forge
after fifty years of service.
Survivors include his wife,
Carolyn Rizzato; children, Cynthia “Cindy” Rizzato of Cypress; John Marlon
Rizzato and his wife, Cari, of Beaumont; and Michael Rizzato of Forney;
brother, Charlie Rizzato of China; sisters, Sandra Rizzato of Beaumont, Dianne
Miller of Lumberton, Patricia Rizzato of China, and Stella Stephens of
Beaumont; grandchildren, John Cook, Joshua Hoelker, and Marilyn Rizzato; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his
parents; and brother, Pete Rizzato, Jr.
A gathering of Mr. Rizzato’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February
17, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490
Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m.,
Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Broussard’s with his interment to follow at
2:30 p.m., at Concord
Cemetery, Zavalla.
