Dr. Howard E. Munden, Chiropractor, 87, of Silsbee, died Sunday, January 31, 2016. He was born on September 3, 1928, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Fleeta Pearl Crombie and Herbert Floyd Munden. Dr. Munden had been a Chiropractor since 1950, practicing in Silsbee since 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ruth Munden of Silsbee; children, Rickie Munden of Bevil Oaks; Diana Ingram and her husband, Larry, of Covington, Georgia; Margaret Herrera of Silsbee; and Sally Munden of Washington; grandchildren, Shelli Gutierrez, Kevin Lewis, Olivia Herrera, Regis Herrera, Holly Devary, Sara Beth Roberts, Phillip Cole, Amy Bivins, Allison Cole, Nathan Cole; and great-grandchildren, Robbie Gutierrez, Bella Gutierrez, Kit Lewis, Damien Trahan, Robert Trahan, Daisy Barefield, Joey Herrera, Grace Devary, Hannah Rockwell, Joey Devary, Sam Devary, Kaylie Cole, Ethan Cole, Hunter Cole, Hope Roberts, Mikayla Bivins, Abygail Bivins, and Josiah Bivins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Aleigha Gutierrez; and brother, Herbert Munden.

A gathering of Dr. Munden's family and friends will be from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1360 Highway 327, Silsbee, with interment to follow at Hardin Memorial Park, 418 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
