Preston Griffin Creel, 81, of
Village Mills, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
He was born on January 21, 1935, in Hardin County,
to Angie Lockhart Creel and Archie Creel.
Survivors include his sister,
Myrtle Hollaway of Village Mills; nephew, Sammy Hollaway and his wife, Arlyn,
of Village Mills; and great nephews, Brett Johnson and his wife, Mallory, and
Jeremy Hollaway, all of Austin. He is preceded in death by his parents;
brother, Leroy Creel; and uncle, George Creel.
A gathering of Mr. Creel’s family
and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m.,
Saturday, January 30, 2016, at First Baptist Church Village Mills, 12426
Highway 69 North, Village Mills, 77663, under the direction of Broussard’s,
Silsbee. His interment will follow at Village Mills Cemetery,
Village Mills.
