Isabelle Grant

Isabelle Grant, 83, of Nederland, died Sunday, January 17, 2016. She was born on March 30, 1932, in Blacksher, Georgia, to Georgia Cryder Crawford and William Crawford.

Isabelle was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her sons, Bryan Grant and his wife, Pam, of Nederland and Ronnie Grant and his wife, Cindy, of Wildwood; daughter, Lisa Kimball and her husband, Lecel, of Nederland; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Margaret Haymans of Savannah, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-one years and father of her children, Bobby Grant; second husband, Henry Paul Barron; and sons, Tommy, Terry, and John Grant.

A gathering of Mrs. Grant’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
