Betty
Foret, 63, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Baptist Hospitals of
Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on September 2, 1952, to Gloria Bryant
Jenkins and LC Jenkins, in Port Arthur. Betty worked as a dispatcher for
Enterprise Transportation for twenty-six years.
Survivors
include her husband of forty-three of years, Darrell Foret, Sr.; daughter,
Wendy Brooks and her husband, Paul, of Beaumont; son, Darrell Foret, Jr. of
Mexia; grandchildren, Koby Brooks and Kaleb Brooks; and aunt, Alice Lisenby and
her husband, Joe, of Port Neches.
She
is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Evelyn Wilson.
A
Rosary for Mrs. Foret will be recited at 5:30 p.m., with her gathering to
follow Friday, January 8, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016,
at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
