Beverly
Mazzola Bankston, 73, of Beaumont, died Monday, January 4, 2016. She was born
on September 16, 1942, to Jennie E. Bonura Mazzola and Joe Mazzola, Sr., and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Beverly
was a secretary with Sysco Foods, Beaumont.
She
is survived by her husband, Bill Bankston; children, Jody Jannise and his wife,
Traci; Chris Jannise and his wife, Sheila; and Regina Jannise Rico, all of
Beaumont; brother, Joe Michael Mazzola, Jr.; of China; niece, Jennifer Mazzola Peterson
and her husband, Derek, of California; grandchildren, Ryan Jannise, Tyler
Jannise, Quentin Rico, Christopher Jannise, and Kimberly Jannise; great-nephews,
Jordan and Jacob Peterson; and stepchildren, Jeff Bankston and his wife, Sue
and Denise Bankston Lawrence.
Beverly
is preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Ricky Rico, Sr.
A
Rosary for Mrs. Bankston will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with her gathering to
follow Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Broussard’s 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday,
January 8, 2016, at St. Piux X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont,
with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
