Marjorie C. Gregorio
September 6, 1951 - December 30, 2015
Marjorie C. Gregorio, 64, of
Port Arthur, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 3 p.m after
battling Pancreatic Cancer. Even with her diagnosis, she did not let it
take the best of her. She was able to celebrate 39 wonderful years with her
husband before she left the world to be with God.
She was born in Altavas, Aklan, Philippines
but had been a resident of Port Arthur for over 10 years. She was the third
daughter of the late Alejandra Barrientos Candelario and Eutiquio Matutina
Candelario. In 1977, she completed her Bachelor’s degree of Nursing at the
Philippine Women's University in Manila. She worked as a Registered Nurse at
The Kidney Center of Beaumont and The Medical Center of SETX.
Marjorie devoted herself to God by being a
member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Choir and a member of the Holy Family Prayer
Group PATX. She was a member of the Philippine Nurses Association. Her passions
included cooking, dancing, fishing, and she was definitely an avid shopper.
Marjorie was always happy, and she will be remembered as a selfless
person.
Survivors include her
husband, Romeo Gregorio; son, Mark Gregorio; daughters, Michelle and Mary
Gregorio; sisters Yolly Mariano and her husband, Tino; June Lie Candelario,
Novie Ann Rasgo and her husband Domxian; brothers, Arnold Candelario and his
wife Wilma, Dante Candelario, Armand Candelario and his wife Methelyn, and
Dennis Candelario and his wife Eva.

Gregorio’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.,
Friday, January 8, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street,
Nederland. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 9,
2015, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland.
Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium,
Beaumont.
