Arthur Earl "Bubba" Brackin

Arthur Earl “Bubba” Brackin, 65,
of Port Arthur, died Sunday, December 20, 2015. He was born on August 12, 1950,
in Port Arthur, to Jane Allene Harvill Brackin and Burt Basil Brackin.
Bubba was a former member of CMA
motorcycle Group and an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed traveling, and
will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend to
all.
Survivors include his wife of
fifteen years, Helen Brackin, of Port Arthur; daughter, Melanie Stehle and her
husband, Robert, of Nederland; stepsons, Chance Duvail and his wife, Kim, of
Reno, Nevada and Keith Duvail and his wife, Melissa, of Parker, Colorado;
grandchildren, Haley Nicole, Hayden, Hailey Page, Cammie, Ali, Connor, and
Nick; mother, Jane Brackin, of Nederland; sister, Connie Benoit and her
husband, Courtney, of Nederland; twin sister, Kathy Washenfelder and her
husband, E.J. Ashford, of Nederland; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of
other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his
father, Burt Brackin.
A gathering of Mr. Brackin’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December
26, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His
funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Broussard’s.
His cremation arrangements will be handled by Broussard’s Crematorium,
Beaumont.
