Barbara Helen Ducote

Barbara Helen Ducote, 79, of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on April 28, 1936, to Mathilda Wilson Poole and Ernest L. Poole, in Port Arthur.

Survivors include her sister, Sue Simcox of Beaumont; brother, David Poole of Tyler; sons, Gary Keiser of Silsbee and Monty Keiser of Nederland; daughters, Donna Graham of Beaumont and Allison Ducote of Port Arthur; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Broadus; sister, Dorothea Poole; and husbands, Aubrey Broadus and Joe Ducote.

A memorial service for Mrs. Ducote will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
