Virginia Solis Lopez,
81, of Beaumont, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, in her home surrounded by her
loving husband and children. She was born on March 30, 1934, in Clay, Texas, to
Lorenza Limon Solis and Maurilio Solis.
Virginia is survived by
her husband, Luis Lopez of Beaumont; children, Lydia Pourasef and her husband,
Kavon, of Marietta, Georgia; Debbie Bourgeois and her husband, Tony, of Lake
Charles, Louisiana; and Luis Lopez, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Sour Lake; grandchildren,
Nick Pourasef, Ashley Pourasef, Johnny Jimenez, Jr., Nicole Jimenez, Thomas
Lopez, and Isabella Lopez; great-grandchildren, Dylan Jimenez, Cheyenne
Jimenez, Ethan Jokisch, Gatlin Watkins, and Sophia Jimenez; sister, Olivia
Solis; and brothers, Nick Solis, John Solis, Manuel Solis, and Ignacio “P.J.”
Solis.
A gathering of Mrs.
Lopez’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a
Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at
Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 11:00
a.m., Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at
Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
