Shelton G. Meaux

Shelton G. Meaux, 88, of Wildwood, died Saturday, November 28, 2015. He was born on April 24, 1927, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Shelton was a United States Army veteran having served in World War II.

Survivors include his daughter, Jana Bearden of Port Neches; grandson, Jeremy Paul Bearden and his wife, Kristine, of Lumberton; granddaughter, Leah Michelle Hyde and her husband, Clint; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Ethel Meaux of Lafayette, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Leah Hicks Meaux; and two sisters.

A gathering of Mr. Meaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
